Review from a client who has visited Europa Park twice...

My first trip to Europa Park was in December 2004. My partner and I stayed at the Castillo Alcazar, which had a medieval Spanish castle theme. In the park and the hotels, attention to detail was incredible. It was Christmas and they decorated the park with giant baubles and lights and they had log fires around the park with roasted chestnuts. I remember one particular morning walking into the park and over night they had made their own snow which just added to the already great atmosphere. One of the other hotels was The Hotel Colosseo which had a court yard with an ice rink which was great. This hotel also had a nice spa and pool area which was an excellent way of relaxing after a day in the park. Each hotel has a bar with a different theme/ interior from the last.

The rides and shows in the park were fantastic and well maintained and the staff were very friendly. There was so much to do at the park including a German Christmas market as well as activities mentioned previously and as we heard that it is a totally different experience to the main season we chose to book for the next year.

As huge Halloween fans we decided to go at the end of October because we knew that like Christmas the theme of the park would be unbelievable, and it was.

On this trip we stayed at the Hotel Colosseo which was very impressive. Again, attention to detail was more than perfect and the architecture was outstanding. Everything was covered in pumpkins and webs. Witches on broomsticks hung from buildings and ropes and characters walked and danced around the park dressed in various Halloween themed costumes. As it was classed as the end of the summer/autumn season certain rides where open that are closed for our previous trip in winter.  I got to go on ‘Silver Star’, a huge roller coaster. It would be worth going to Europa-park just for this ride, and it was the icing on the cake to an amazing trip.

As a huge theme park fan I have visited a lot of parks around the world but nothing compares to Europa-park, and it is defiantly on my visiting list for next year too.
