| As well as having three
excellent quality onsite hotels, the Europa Park Resort is home to one
of Europe's best theme parks. Europa Park attracts record visitors
every year from Germany as well as its neighbouring Switzerland and
France. It is not as well known to the British public, however it
should definitely be visited as an alternative to certain other parks in
Europe which you may have already visited.
The park is home to a wide range of rides,
for all ages. For thrill seekers there is silver star, one of the
longest and tallest roller coasters in the world. There are also many
live shows, water rides and extra activities in the winter such as Ice
Skating.
The hotels are open all year round and
the park has two seasons, Summer & Winter. During the winter season the
park doesn't have all the rides open but there is still plenty to do to
keep you busy including a wonderful Christmas market. For more details
about Europa Park's Winter Season click here (coming soon).
NEW for 2007...
Atlantic Adventure - new family
attraction...
The myth of Atlantis has fascinated
people since time immemorial. Legend or history? Get to the bottom of
one of the world’s great mysteries – right here at Europa-Park! This
adventure for the whole family takes you to the depths of the seas –
past many a peril and extraordinary scene – all the way to…well, come
and see for yourself.
4* Hotel Santa Isabel
Calm, inspiration and contemplation – if
you are longing to regain your strength after a day of non-stop
adventure in Germany’s biggest theme park you may seek rest and
relaxation, repose and reinvigoration at the new 4-star themed hotel in
Europa-Park from July 2007. Next to the Spanish hotel El Andaluz, a new
establishment is being built in the style of an old Portuguese monastery
with all the comforts and conveniences of a modern 4-star hotel. You can
live like monks or nuns here – whilst living it up in luxury.
Original Half-timbered House from the
Black Forest
One of the oldest half-timbered houses of
the region will be welcoming you in the German Alley. The house was
built in 1474 – almost two decades before Christopher Columbus
discovered America. It has a unique half-timbered cladding and
represents a fascinating architecture, which is typical for the Middle
Ages. Both the exterior design and the interior structure of the
building, as well as the precious emblems made of oak wood prove its
former use as a manorial house.
Science House
In cooperation with the „Förderverein
Science und Technologie“ Europa-Park will open the Science House at the
beginning of the season 2007. Next to the main entrance of Europa-Park
you can experience science and technology and become a researcher. 80
interactive offers on an area of 1,000 square metres invite you to
experiment and participate in the workshops and activity corners.
Moreover, also in 2007 the “Science Days for Kids” (26 + 27 June) and
the “Science Days” (11 – 13 October) will be organised at Europa-Park.
